I founded Joly Solutions to provide independent, technically grounded advisory support in environments where energy, infrastructure, and operational decisions overlap and carry real consequences for reliability, governance, and long-term performance. Professional engineering services are provided in accordance with the requirements of Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).
Throughout my career, I have worked directly on production floors, in laboratories, data centres, campuses, public facilities, and executive environments. That experience reinforced a consistent reality: most organizations do not struggle because they lack technology or effort. They struggle because engineering, operations, finance, governance, and risk are rarely aligned around the same operational truth.
My role is to bridge that gap.
Today, I advise organizations operating in complex, regulated, and operationally critical environments, including:
- Manufacturing, food processing, and agri-food production
- Higher education and research
- Public sector and healthcare
- Commercial and institutional infrastructure, greenhouses and controlled-environment agriculture
My work increasingly focuses on the intersection of operational resilience, energy systems, infrastructure modernization, utilities, and production risk. This is particularly true in environments where downtime, compliance failures, or infrastructure weaknesses carry disproportionate consequences.
Whether the objective is improving reliability, strengthening business continuity, modernizing aging infrastructure, optimizing utilities, improving resource efficiency, or supporting long-term capital planning, I focus on translating technical complexity into practical, defensible decisions that operators, executives, regulators, and finance teams can act on with confidence.
I often work at the boundary between the shop floor and the boardroom, helping organizations identify hidden operational exposure, challenge assumptions, and build strategies that remain viable under real-world operational conditions.
Joly Solutions operates as an independent, vendor-agnostic advisory practice. I collaborate with specialized partners where appropriate, while maintaining clear accountability for recommendations and outcomes so clients can trust that decisions are driven by operational reality, evidence, and long-term performance — not sales agendas.
